The idea of British graphic designer, Chris Holbrook, has taken off allowing him to quit his day job to focus on the progression of his Free Post Code Lottery.com website.
Holbrook, 35, came up with this concept after hearing a breast cancer report on the radio mentioning “post code lottery” in a treatment context.
His award winning idea is based on free entries into a post code lottery, which earns income from advertisements.
When the site launched three years ago, the daily jackpots were at just GBP 10 and has grown to GBP 70 and climbing.
Holbrook is turning his attention to growing the business in Ireland where the post code system will launch in spring 2015.
